Before your tattoo appointment...

Please prepare for your appointment with the check-list below!

Leading up to your tattoo:

  • Stay hydrated!

  • Get at least 8 hours of sleep

  • Avoid alcohol consumption the day before your appointment

  • Eat a nutritious and balanced breakfast

  • Make sure the area being tattooed is free of: open wounds, sunburn, fresh scars, severe acne or eczema outbreaks

Day of - Bring:

  • Your physical ID - photos or copies will not be permitted

  • Water 

  • Anything that will make your appointment more comfortable (headphones, a jacket, snacks, a friend, etc.)

  • For full-day sessions, taking a lunch break is highly recommended. Feel free to bring a meal (I have a fridge/freezer and microwave) or grab lunch somewhere near my studio.

Dress for the tattoo placement 

  • All upper hip and upper side leg tattoo clients must wear tieable string bikini bottoms / loose clothing that is easy to take off and on

  • Chest, sternum, and rib clients should wear a cutlet bra or plan to wear pasties (these will be provided)

  • Back and spine clients are recommended to wear a button up or zip up shirt/hoodie to wear backwards during the tattoo process.  

  • When in doubt, wear loose, comfortable clothing that is easy to maneuver, or reach out to Sabel directly if you are unsure :)
